The Yamaha PY64-D Dante expansion card augments DM7 series digital consoles’ Dante connectivity with sample rate converter functions to facilitate the setup of complex systems that may include devices using different sample rates. By connecting the DM7’s onboard Dante connectors and those on the PY64-D card to different Dante networks, the console can function as a secure bridge between them. The PY64-D card features 64 x 64 I/O at up to 96kHz with both synchronous and asynchronous SRC modes available. The SRC setting is assignable from the console, and redundant connections are provided with primary and secondary connectors.
